I was having a conversation with my coworker about how after my junior year of high school I suddenly had a horrible fear of heights and flying. I never had them before and I've never been able to figure out what triggered them.
Turns out it's simple.
He said "Its because you feel that you have something to lose now. I hate flying too, but it only happened after I had my kids."
I do have a lot in my life that makes me happy, and it makes sense that I don't want to lose it. :-)
I'm real sleepy now and have a loooong day ahead of me. Ttyl lj.
