I'll be posting this closer to the walk also, but thought id get a head start on it now.
For the last two years I've participated in the march of dimes. Its an organization that helps fund research so babies are born at full term or if they are born prematurely or with health issues, they can survive. this year I'm trying to raise money for it. The link to my "team" is
http://www.marchforbabies.org/team/t1375052 You can donate from there (every little bit helps!!) or join my team and come walk with tabatha and i in April! its in silverdale and its a 6 mile walk/run. Its at 8:30am, but its pretty fulfilling!
There are signs along the way that tell you about what the money goes towards and facts about premature babies. They give snacks and water before and during the walk and at the end some of the local sponsors give free food. But mainly its pretty cool to see these families that have benefited from the organization and hear their stories and see their now healthy babies.
I know its hard to give right now and there are so many organizations and people in need, but if you can spare $5 that would still be great.
