What a very busy week...

That pretty much says it all...I've had a very busy week. Sunday we did more moving in things (David and I started moving into the townhome last friday)...Monday I got up and thought "screw choir" since allllll of the parking spots in the two closest lots were taken...I do love to sing but come on, that's ridiculous; having to park like a half mile away just to go sing for ONE CREDIT?! Not me! So I went and got Misty's butt outta bed a lil early :O) We hung out with Krystofer and then she went to class, and I hung out with the lil man for a bit. She got back and we packed up and went to Walmart...she got his pictures back and I had to get a sympathy card...I found out on Monday that one of my childhood friends' older bros died Sunday and thought that I should at LEAST send a card. Came back to the townhome and were gonna start putting the futon together...but then we called Sarah and wanted to see her and Gabriel...so then they came over. He's a cute lil guy but BOY does he require a lot of attention...lol kinda makes me think..can I do this again???!! Yeah I can, duh...but I am having serious doubts about breastfeeding b/c I saw how often the baby gets hungry and how much work it is to actually "strap up" to feed (so to speak..i guess technically it would be "strap down" wouldn't it?)...and honestly, I mean Jayden turned out fine and he was raised on Enfamil Lipil!!! Formula may sound good...or maybe a mixture...cuz wow...I mean it's not like i'm like these other first-timers that are trying to keep their breast tone...mine has been gone for a few years!!!
haha, okay enough on that tangent. Whew. So anyways, we volunteered to watch Gabe while Sarah was in school and then things got hectic with Me, Misty, Krys, Gabe, David coming in and out moving things, Melissa and Alex stopped by with some bar stools for us, and we were (well they were hehe) putting my futon together at the same time...so yeah by the time that Sarah got back, ppl started to leave, and by the time my room got all put together it was like one am and we were hungry...so we packed up the babies and went to Rainbow Foods...got some grub...watched a movie...I think that Misty and Krys were the only ones that got sleep that night..ugh.
So the morning came and I dropped Misty off at school and me and Krys went back to her place and hung out...I didn't feel very well b/c too little sleep I think. Then I went to drive home after she got back and...well first of all, Katie called me, which is a very very good thing, heck I miss that girl like I'd miss a part of my body that got severed!!! (sorry about the gory analogy!!) But yeah she said that her and Ella were in the ICU at Children's Hospital for almost a week and a half b/c Ella had a really rare reaction to her 1 year shots (particularly the MMR) and her body started fighting it's own immune system...she got blisters all over that popped when you touched her and lost a bunch of skin and I guess she only had a twenty percent chance of making it!!!! Poor baby girl..and poor Katie!!! Thankfully, Katie was calling b/c it looks like Ella had recovered enough to go home, and will probably only scar on her arms she said. I felt awful for them :( THEN, my check engine light came on!!! It has never ever done that before so you better believe I was pretty nervous...I called mom, who was on her way to a doc's appt...she said to go straight home and to call skip...so I went to the old place to relax in the air conditioning...
Called skip...no answer. Had some soup, took a nap on the couch. David came home, we checked my fluids in my car... I needed radiator fluid. So we went to the store, and got radiator fluid (and made an ass of myself) here's the convo: guy at store "what kinda fluid do you need?" me "radiator fluid." him "well, is it green? red?" me (thinking he was asking the color of my CAR) "no, it's white." him "White?!" me "yeah a lil white Kia." him "nooooo! the fluid!!!" me "ohhh. THAT's green."
Ugh that sucked. but it turned out not to even be the problem!!! So we got chinese food and went back to the new place and I did a bunch of homework and crap. Skip called me back in the morning on Wednesday ( I guess he works nights now). Made an appointment and we brought Mia in to the car place. Decided to just go ahead and get the 40K checkup in the meantime, cuz that covers everything that could possibly be wrong pretty much. Skip brought me home. I got ready for school, David brought me to my geology class, picked me up and it was STORMING. Hardcore. Soooo we drove IN THE STORM to his parents' house in Brooklyn Park (dumb dumb idea...) to check on it...it was still there. Yay. Drove to Burger King (yummmm) and then the townhome...where I realized that my ankles were as swollen as a rhino's. yikes. ate, went to bed.
Sat on my big pregnant ass all day Thursday until David got here. Talked to the office about the hot water (or lack thereof). Went to get my car. What was actually wrong with it??? MY GAS CAP HAD WARPED, therefore leaving a seal that was less than air tight and lets face it folks, Mia likes the environment and so she was just LETTING ME KNOW that my car COULD POSSIBLY be leaking gas fumes into the air. UGH!!! FOUR HUNDRED EIGHT DOLLARS LATER!!!!!!!!! Got Arbys, came home, did English test and paper, went to bed. Today I am meeting Skip for lunch and watching Krys...and somehow grocery shopping, socializing with Misty, AND studying for my biology test that is tomorrow at NINE AM. UGH.

Oh and on top of it all, mom's having major major health issues.... :(

Tired,
Andrea
