I Jenny had a fabulous idea. I'm pretty must just going to copy-pasta her journal :p
I didn't realize until yesterday just how much I've come to count on livejournal to keep in touch with friends. I've had this journal for a little over 7 years and in that time I've used it for personal entries, organizing meetings, general venting, picture dumping, and the other usual shenanigans. It has become my way of saying "hey, if you care to read it, this is what's going in my life." Good or bad, many of you do the same.
This isn't a freak-out post over the rumors that lj could soon be boarding up the office and unhooking the servers, but the recent hullabaloo over the possibility of such an event has made me realize that I don't know many of your email addresses, AIM accounts, birthdays or web site addresses. In fact, I don't have the addresses or phone numbers of people who, were it not for the slothish convenience of the INTARWEBS, I would likely be calling and writing to regularly.
And so I'm going to use this entry to collect as much information as possible, to finally be written down in the beautiful leather bound address book I picked up in Italy 3 years ago. Feel free to add or subtract information.

In other news I've been signing up like crazy for volunteering. So far I've committed to a green space project this Saturday. This women's health center emailed me back about a reception gig, and included an application. The questions are all, "How has Jesus changed your life?" and shit like that D: So apparently this is a pro-life Jesus freak place, so I don't think I'll be giving my time to them. I doubt they'd even take me! One of the questions is, "How has God shown his views on abortion through his Word?" Just, really?! My answer was gonna be, "The bible says nothing on abortion, but there are plenty of instances of young children and babies being indiscriminately killed in the name of God, so I would think he doesn't have a problem with it." OH SNAP.
Edit: Scott has been talking about moving to Hong Kong. I had a dream last night that me, Lindze, Twinkle, Emma, Allison, that whole crew of girls, took a trip to HK and we had a FABULOUS time shopping, going to the beach, clubbing and drinking fancy drinks! Ashe also made an appearance, she was swimming in the ocean with a bear. Randomly some OB people showed up and we totally ignored them and they stayed in their hotel to play video games. GOOD DREAM.
