New York vacation:

Sooooooooooooo much fun!!!!  Like I said, I went with Liz from Photography class.  We also went with her mom, her sister (Katie), and her sister's friend (Kevin).  I've never been to a city like that in my life.  It was amazing.  Everything was so freakin' expensive though!  Goodness!  We went to the Applebee's in Time's Square

hi! First of all-that's so cool you met Jai! You gotta post the picture. Upload it on to Photobucket.com. It's really easy, I can show you if you don't know. :) My mom and I are going to NYC in a week and hopefully we can get some cheap tickets to see Rent. I was actually planning on it! That's so cool you were just there. :)

Thank you so much for your comment. It made me feel a lot better. Today was a better day, even though it was raining so much. We drove up to the campus and drove around and it made me feel 100 times better. I certainly plan on getting involved and I'm so anxious for everything to start. I really can't wait. It's just strange because I've never lived in such a rural area. I'll just have to get used to it! AND the fact that I'm living in a whole new country...so that's another can of beans! haha! I still LOVE SBC. It is so super beautiful and I felt at home, even though we didn't get out of the car!

Where are you now? Thanks for saying you'll show me the ropes. That would be awesome. I'm so glad we met--cyber-ly! Thanks again. You're the best.

I was able to get a $60 ticket for Rent a few hours before the show. And the best part was... IT WAS FOURTH ROW CENTER! :) It was sooooooooo freakin' awesome. I hope you're able to get good tickets.

Right now, I'm at home (Virginia Beach). It's definitely different from SBC's rural area as well and I love coming back here after spending a long time in the middle of nowhere. I do have to agree that SBC is "so super beautiful". I think I really take it for granted sometimes. You should see it during the fall. The trees' colors are amazing.

Anyway, I have class in the morning and I have to be there on time for once (tee hee), so I'm going to bed. Talk to you soon!

So I did the photobucket thing and uploaded the picture, but I don't really know where to go from there. I can copy and paste the web address on my entry but not the picture. *Sigh* I'll figure it out.

Hey,

For photobucket, what you do is you copy the second of the three choices to where you want the picture in your post. it's called the "tag." but i understand if you don't want to post your picture in your journal-kinda scary!

thanks again for the words of comfort. you made me feel so much better. slowly getting used to the surroundings, but it's great to know that SBC is it's own little world, and i'm so excited for everything to get started! I really can't wait to meet you either. glad you are having a good summer! and I hope the DMB concert was fun-lucky you!! :)
