In-Game Character Information
Name: Komachi Mikumari
Series: Samurai 7
Age: 12

Personality:
Komachi is bubbly, free-spirited, and can be very loud. She often speaks her mind, no matter who to. Still, she's very respectful despite the tendency to talk, and she'll listen to authority figures' wishes. Usually. She has a tendency to be braver than she intends, often trying to accompany those on dangerous adventures, but this could be seen more as her trying to stick with those she cares about rather than being really brave. She is often prone to start crying, especially when she is afraid (or she'll just cling to the nearest body and whine about it a little bit) or when she is especially sad. Often, she'll throw a tiny tantrum if she feels that nobody is listening to her or if she's angry (First episode, she stomped and screamed at the thieves who stole the rice, though much good it actually did her).

Komachi also gets very attached to people. She will stick up for them, no matter their faults, and she is not afraid to tell somebody off if she feels the person if being treated unfairly. She stands her ground when these things occur.

Overall, Komachi is very loveable, happy, and will find a bright spot in dark times.

Background:

Komachi was born a simple peasant girl in a tiny, rice village called Kanna. Her older sister used to be the old water priestess (Komachi has now inherited the title), giving both girls a tiny bit of elevation amongst the village, if only because water is very important. Komachi still worked in the fields.

Kanna and the surrounding villages had a huge bandit problem. These villages are a strange mixture of wizard and muggle alike, most often with the muggles knowing about magic (since many of the wizards are the purest pure bloods and love to reign over these simple peasants). The Nobuseri, a group of rogue wizards trained in swords and dark magic, came every harvest, taking most of Kanna's rice and leaving the villagers with very little to survive off of. The village gathered together and decided to hire a group of Aurors (with rice. Because Aurors are the samurai of the world... XD) to battle the Nobuseri.

Komachi's sister offered to go with Rikichi, one of the villagers, to the city to search for these much-needed Aurors, Komachi following suit. The tale that follows is one of heartbreak, danger, magic, war, and a whole lot of laughing. The group finally found their seven Aurors a battle-wisened old man, a young wizard without the taste of war, a wizard who became an entertainer using his skills, the battle-wisened man's "spouse", a man who was neither wizard nor peasant but still had the heart of an Auror, a wizarding traitor who only tried to live a simple life, and an Auror-turned-Nobuseri who joined to kill the man because "he is an Auror", only to be found out and become the known enemy of the Nobuseri and the ruling Pureblood family.

In the end of the "war" between the Seven Aurors and Nobuseri, four Aurors had been killed (**SOB**) but the village of Kanna was saved. However, poor Komachi had lost the man she had fallen in love with (as much as a ten-year-old girl can be in love, especially with an older man; I mean, she even asked him to marry her... And he said yes. XD) when he sacrificed his life to save the village. Still, the village was saved due to the magic of these men, and Komachi became the water priestess since her sister had become too "unpure" to properly handle the crystal. After a year of proper mourning and priestess training, the leader of the Seven Aurors felt that Komachi had enough magical prowess to be sent to a school to hone her skills instead of learning in Kanna from her sister. Cid was contacted and arrangements were made to send Komachi to Hogwarts to start out as a second year.

Blood:(full, half, muggle-born) Muggle

Preferred House: Hufflepuff
Why you think they belong in this house? Komachi is loud, and she can be seen as brash, but she is over all a hard worker (she works in rice fields, after all...) and EXTREMELY loyal to those she grows attached to. In canon, Komachi grows close to a machine samurai to the point where she even offers to marry him when she grows older. She listens to what he tells her to do and always sticks up for him. ^.^b

School Year: 2nd
