Ciao, tutti! It has been a long time since a real update (what else is new?). So, let's do a rundown of Britt's normal activities.
1. School. I am in my last full semester!!! Hooray! I bought my cap and gown and invitations yesterday. Waaayyy to expensive, but you know, it's one of those things you have to do. I picked up info for my class ring. It is also expensive. My mom offered to pay for it, but, I dunno...I hate to use her money on something I probably won't wear that much. It would be cool to have something to show off the fact that I am a college graduate everyday. Yes, I am pretentious, but then again I spent way too much time and way too much money on this grand experiment known as college to not be.
2. Work. I am still working at Camelot. It is still hell tempered with cheap laughs. I dunno...there's something inexplicable that makes me love that job, despite the physical violence and employee drama. I've almost been there a year, which is what I intended. It has opened up the job market for me in Atlanta alot.
3. Speaking of, Atlanta. Garr. I dunno. One minute I am so excited about going, the next I REALLY don't want to go at all. I love Knoxville, and given the choice I think I would stay here (for the irony in this statement, go back and read entries that predate 2003). I don't think Joe understand how much of a sacrifice this is going to be for me, because I have a job here that I could move up in, a good school to attend, friends and family. I understand why he had to move, but I don't think he understands that it isn't going to be benefit me that much, except to be with him, which is another story altogether, and best not divulged to the public.
4. The Gym. Yeah, it sounds obsessive to put it as a big part of my life, but as I go there 5 or 6 days a week, I guess it is. I am running 4 miles everyday now (and it is like death). I wish I had some new gym shoes; mine are all busted up. It is on the list for next month. I will say my arms, chest and shoulders are pretty damn impressive now; if I can just get my stomach and ass to follow suit. I have 10 more pounds until I am at my goal weight! And just enough time to lose it before summer.
5. The Future. So, even though I walk in May, I am not done until July. But that is okay, b/c one of my classes is yoga. *sighs happily* Two hours of yoga every morning for a month. I will be, how you say, a flexible, relaxed fox. I will be moving in July, so I am gearing up for that.
Well, that is pretty much my life. Other highlights have been Dropkick Murphys and NIN in the same week. Oh! And I gave up drinking (sorta...only one cheat). It occurs to me that that makes me what used to be referred to as "straight edge" I dunno...I think the only fun thing I do anymore is have sex...and with tax season, I don't even get to do that. Yes, in fact I am no fun.
