Colour everywhere!!
Hmmmm.. since everyone else is updating on the topic of Ethnic Day ... I might as well give my few paras on it as well...
Unlike everyone else nothing watsover was right for me today.. starting from the moment i got up. Got late to come to school, dance flopped, makeup shattered, bag broke and I was in a totally crappy mood for a while.
But.. then...
CELEBRATE THE WORLD started after break and everything went just fine! The dances were kickass and I really had loads of fun dancing away in my seat and hooting and cheering with Mano, Jen and Krys (tho Krys aka 'Madam Azim' was too boring and didnt dance much :P )
I guess the Sri Lankan guys take the cake for the ‘hottest’ dance around. What with Shaan dressed as a hippo sized, spandex clad chick and Ama and Tharindu also equally ‘good looking’, there wasn’t much to really say bout how wonderfully 'feminine' they looked!
The rest of the day went fine with us having our usual photo session and running around the school with Mano looking for Abhi, Danu, Jen and the rest of the gits who were God knows where after school ended! Tired out we (Aarti, Abhi, Me, Clayton, Derek, Gail, Jenny B, Kareen, Krystal, Manolia, Rahul, Siranjani n Yousuf) walked to Lamcy (with the girls wearing heels, mind u!) and took a seat in the cool (as in cold) food court and tucked into a chicken burger… Yummmmm… FOOD!! Finally something to eat after eating nothing at all since last night!
Mano left us to go home. The rest of us, excluding Rahul, decided to walk it to Karama and have a seat in the LuLu park for a while till the shj bus came for the shj ppl to get home. That lil time we spent in the park was highly interesting I must say … looking at it in all perspectives (Krys.. no thwacking allowed! :P).
Finally I decided to leave with the few of the shj ppl (Abhi, Yousuf n Siru) and go home before mom came and gave me an earful on how I should get home early.
Not many pics on my cam when compared to those of u who took over a hundred (Derek, u took 199.. WTF… how?!?!). But all of them are there on my space for public viewing so feel free to steal whatever pics u mite want. :)
Everyone, thanks for making my day so much better than it was to start with. U all looked absolutely wonderful today.. we should hang out more often… hopefully once the exams are over.
