Well I got my wisdom teeth out today and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I had to take this medicine an hour before my appointment that makes me drowsy. I get there and we schedule my follow up appointment before I am almost completely knocked out of it. Then I went in the room and they set the chair up and then they put this breathing thing in my nose. Then I got the thing put on my finger to monitor me. Then they put the IV in my arm which I didn't really notice because I just wanted to sleep. Then he put the medicine in through the IV. The doctor says we will give it a few minutes and then start. That is all I remember until they woke me up and had my lay in a chair in the other room for a while before I was able to head home. I never felt a thing pain wise. I mean when I was leaving I needed help to the car and all that good stuff. Then I got home and I got to take the gooze out of my mouth. Talk about really gross. Since it wasn't bleeding anymore, I took one of my pain killers so I wouldn't feel the pain after my numbness was all gone. I finally got to eat something after going 12 hours or more without food. Of course it only consist of yogurt and apple sauce which took forever to eat. Then I decided to boil some water so I can make jello. Well I layed on the couch for a few minutes and I was out. It was a good thing my mom was home or else I would have burned down the house. Come to find out the pain killers makes me drowsy so I have been sleeping all day which is nice. So far the surgery as gone fine and I haven't had any problems, but eating but that is normal. I can't drive either while I am on the pain killers so I am stuck at home for now. Not really a bad idea because I just have been sleeping and relaxing. Also I can't really do much activity for 48 hours. Gives me a good time to catch up on the sleep I am lacking and just relax.
Besides that I haven't been doing much else over spring break, but relaxing. Not a big deal because it is better than classes and I really need this time to relax and get rid of all stress for a while until I go back to school on Sunday where the stress will all beginning until they are over in May. I am going to take another pain killer because my teeth are really starting to kill me which means bed time because those things knock me out. Laters
