First Entry! Yea me!
I finished Katie's cosplay last night before Alice kreamed Dr. Isac's mutant butt.
I love the Resident Evil flicks!
Anyway, I hope the cosplay fits. I normally make stuff for me and therefore try it on before all the finishing touches make it a bear to tear apart and redo (or it's for a munchkin and they don't much mind if it fits a little weird) That and we'll only have a week to fix it before ACEN and I'll feel like a terrible person if I can't get it right before then.
I put the zipper in my bustled skirt, I hate it. It lays like a bubble and not like the bell it's supposed to be. I'll have to check out one of the tutorials on EGL and figure out what I'm doing so terribly wrong. I'm sure it had to do with the fact that I probably didn't have enough fabric for a skirt to begin with. Ah, the wonders of learning.
And in between putting coats of paint on my beds foot board, yes I'm finally finishing the dragons, I'm waiting to go shopping with Miss. Tanya. She's making me go to JoAnn's, oooh dangerous. ^_^ Anyway we have to find fabric for her LARPing dress that she wants. From all the ideas's she's given me it sounds like she wants one of those bar wench dresses that they wear at Reniassance Faire in Bristol, IL with less emphises on the 'ladies'. She also wants lessons which is cool cause I like to teach, at least to crowds less than two.
People are scary and I talk too fast and then get all flustered!
I just have to keep myself from teaching her bad habits of which I have many when it comes to sewing. Patience really is a virtue, one I don't have often ^_^
