i finally have a few minutes to update
OK! this is back from May 8th -- Mother's Day!
the weather was gloomy and the rain kept coming, but my brother and i still attended church w/ my mom that morning. and then we came home for some yummy sandwiches and my fruit salad --- and played cards till i had to go to work. i gave my mom a few presents, but theres not enough that i could have done for her. she has done an immense amount of stuff for me. and she doesnt know how much i appreciate it. she really doesnt. she's been a true blessing and an absolute angel to me these past few months...helping me out with EVERYthing. and i know she'll never read this, but i love you mom!
and mom's day @ work was fun. despite the horrid weather, we were still JAM packed. an hour long wait the entire night. goodness! it was kinda cool though b/c i got to see becca walkup and her family as well as my favorite manager - matt harms! i got off work super late and then waited outside for another hour to hear matt and josh's relgion perspectives. interesting indeed.
monday i had to call in sick for work. kinda felt bad about it. oh well - i dont think they belived me but its the first time ive done it in 4 1/2 months. so i guess im good. and afterschool i did some workingout and well as studyin for my psych exam.
and tuesday was the big day! i had lunch w/ jackie, jamie & liz... it and then we had our test! it really wasnt that bad. i owned the multiple choice and i think i did allright on the essays. we'll see!
and today was the day marvin and i won the houston livestock show & rodeo scholarship ($12,000!)!!! that was also an incredible blessing He's given me and my family. thank You.
and wednesday was another day @ work.
Thursday I woke up @ 5 a.m. for no real reason, and liz dunlap told me to go to harwin for jewelry. so i went afterschool. was quite disappointed w/ it... oh well. better luck next time i guess! and i found out i was EXEMPT from eco! hell freaking yeah! i was so stoked. i really worked super hard for that. super hard. and i deserve it. every bit of it.
and on the way to harwin there was this truck driver that would not stop checking me out. it was insane! this HUGE 18 wheeler would slow waaaaaaaaaaaay down to catch up with me, and after i got on the feeder, he'd inch along with me. and all the while waving like mad. crazy men.
and i was in a great mood, so i met the window-washer man named billy on the corner and gave him my little altoid box of pennies for washing my window. weird guy though.
and work was great. very great. and i told josh it was probably going to be my last night working there for awhile. and we said our goodbyes. and i didnt get off till late, and i was kind of hoping that maybe he left me a goodbye note on my windshield or something. but i didnt want to get my hopes up. but when i walked outside, i found a little note attached to my car! he wished me the best of luck in school and such and then left me his number! wahoo!
so the very next day (friday) i got to talk to josh! woohoo!
and me and mony and michelle all dressed up and i went to the bank and olive garden and i did some serious work on my calculus project during lunch and i laid out in the sun when i got home from all my errands.
and ran to first colony for some prom jewelry (prom was saturday!) i got to talk to nikki and robert so that was tight. and we had our pointless senior meeting. oh well.

i got a PGA scholarship in the mail today! woohoo! 2 scholarships in one week -- my parents are so happy. and extremely proud. its for $2000 that comes straight to me --- for "educational expenses". of course im saving half for when i get out of college ( or emergencies) and the other half will be spent on clothes and dorm accessories! cant wait to go shopping for dorm stuff! thats going to be sooo fun!
