last Friday & Saturday
why did He give us such beautiful day?!
It was another late start day, so I took advantage of it and hit up the gym for a couple hours... and then drove over to HEB and picked up some PB&J stuff along w/ 2 sacks of bread for our calculus class (which we didnt end up eating anyways). but the day went by real fast and classes were fun. jojo and i hit afterschool for an hour or so (yes, more working out) and then i drove to my aunts for a minute and then to amy's to shower and get ready for the inertia concert that night. we didnt buy tickets beforehand, but got there early enough to be high on the waiting list. mrs. roberts took over the waiting list and let me and amy in finally, and the tickets were only $10 (she messed up) but that was awesome. we got nice seats and got to sit with diego and his mom and stepdad. nice couple. diego's hilarious. and the show was absolutely amazing. amazing.
i was so proud of the students that performed and the dances were incredible. i left the auditorium with an overwhelming feeling of motivation. dont know why, but it really inspired me. not sure what it inspired me to do, but something! and i went back to amy's house to get ready for bed and we passed out shortly after arriving....
because we had to wake up @ 7 to head over to school for our AP Calculus Final...yes, it was a 3 hour test..... it wasnt that bad though. kind of cool seeing all the calculus kids in one big room on a saturday morning. becki made hundreds of cupcakes for everyone for zack's birthday. my zackarias. i have yet to make him something. but i am. he's my buddy --- thats going to kill me with love! hehe!
so after the test, amy and i drove around my aunt's neighborhood bc the whole neighborhood was having a garage sale. VERY cool idea. i wish glenshire would do something like that. ill see if i can plan it. well, anyways, we didnt see anything we really liked.... but its cool. and i left to come home to get ready for work ---
and low and behold who shows up!? Mykal! my buddy from middle school. it was really nice seeing him again - he came over for about an hour and it was nice catching up and stuff. we've been playing phone tag and whatnot, never catchign each other. but im really glad he stopped over. Xavier college will be VERY pleased to have him! go green blazian! hehe
and work was graet.... it was a LONG day. freaking like 8 hours. but its cool. i love my waiters/waitresses. and my hosts were fun --- i made pretzels for them again and they loved them! as usual! and ben is the cutest thing ever. ever. and we had a little bachelorette party... of like 10 girls. all dressed up in camo ...and they had a cake made in the shape of a penis... yes guys. a penis. and it was all in camoflauge too. it said "the hunt was over". silly girls. they had a great time though. all were smashed before they left.
i also got to meet 2 girls that used to work @ tx land & cattle and perry's steakhouse. they said they are SO happy that they're not working there anymore. the management @ tx was terrible... w/ the GM's constantly leaving. and @ perry's you have to be PERFECT. simply PERFECT. but you dont get paid that badly. but im completely satisfied w/ my restaurant.
