(no subject)
According to the ultrasound I had on Monday, the baby is a girl! :o)
Kelly & I had a really nice vacation, except for the part when Kelly got an eye infection which worsened on the way from Atlanta to Hilton Head. We had to stop for three hours in Macon, GA, so he could see an optometrist. He did not have a very enjoyable first day on the island, but his eye got better on Wednesday, so we stuck around an extra day to make up for his not feeling well the first day and a half of our trip. I do have pictures, but many of them involve me looking like a beached whale, so I will not be putting those up here for public viewing. I look semi-decent in this one (you can't see the somewhat grotesquely swollen ankles):
The Georgia Aquarium was very nice, but it was also extremely crowded. I would like to go back sometime when school is in session and I could spend more time looking at the exhibits.
I have about 250 emails to sort through, and I haven't gotten everything unpacked. My to-do list is long and there are only 2 weeks until school starts, but I'm too tired to care. I think I will go put my feet up and read. The real world can wait until Monday.
