[Journal Entry]I have a pond!

Apr 22, 2010 15:40

Well, it's three-quarters of a pond: If I've been neglecting this journal, it's because I've been busy working on it. I have the basin dug and lined and the bottom covered in pea-gravel. I've found an outside waterpipe I can tap into, but first, I have to wait for the bamboo plants to grow. Yes, I have bamboo plants, and Galadriel has allowed me to cultivate them in a corner of her greenhouse, which likely means that we're friends now. She even asked me to squire for her since one of her kin was bothering her, and it turns out it was that same goon who stuck me with a sword that first week I got here. Yeesh! He's worse than Terazuma (who's nice to pretty girls, at least). Hopefully I'll have it finished by May, and hopefully by then, this sweet little girl named Shilo whom I met will be feeling better so she can enjoy it.

Though that remains to be seen, since I know the cause of that illness and it's the creep I was trailing when I ended up here. Adrian has seen the bastard in the hallway. I knew something was up one night a few weeks ago, when I woke up and found the moon had turned the color of blood. I went looking for Adrian and found Duck had woken up as well, scared to death. I know you're here, Muraki, and I know you want me, but I'm not going to play any more of your mind games. You're going to have to come find me if you want me that badly, you bastard! At least I've got plenty of allies: no less than the Merlin himself is here and he's investigating the matter, and Lydia -- or rather, Pandora asked me if I knew how to break the curse. I wish I could have, but at least she's offered to help track down the creep. I'd like to see the look on his face when two of his blood-drinking cousins gang up on him. But I hope they don't try biting him: I can't imagine he tastes very good, and I hope he doesn't turn on them and try draining them.

It hasn't been too bad, other than finding out he's here: I got some fashion tips from a pretty girl named Favrielle and I've also met Madame Margot's other brother Armand: at least the two guys look very different, so I can tell them apart, but I'll say one thing, all three of them are very good-looking people (what? I like complimenting people's looks). And I met a myth come to life: there's a very sweet girl who appears to be Echo, the nymph from Greek mythology; I found her making flower chains and I've promised her some of the first flowers in my garden, once they get set in and blossom.

!journal entry, cute ladies, no not thinking about muraki
