"Don't look into the eyes of Mara!"
She confided to me that she likes people to think she's dangerous, but really she's just shy. I suppose being all alone in a tomb for 2000 years probably does that to you. That's not to say that she can't curse you! She IS a mummy, after all, but she doesn't curse people she likes and I'm sure she'll just love whoever decides to take her home!
Mara's body is made out of wool/rayon blend felt and is sewn and embroidered by hand. Her hair is a soft 100% acrylic yarn. Mara is wearing 100% cotton muslin wrappings that were created on a sewing machine and then painstakingly handstitched together to form an asymmetrical and wrappings for her arms and legs. Her jewelry is also handmade out of gold-toned wire and glass beads; both her jewelry and her clothing are completely removable. She stands at right around 10" (25.4cm).
The first creation in OneTrueTree's 2009 Halloween lineup, Mara is a truly one of a kind doll.
