It's a beautiful, beautiful day not to be at work! Patriot's Day is sort of a stupid holiday, but boy am I enjoying it. ethicsgradient and I biked down to Arlington Center for sushi and a visit to the used-book store, and now I am enjoying watching the cats being Really Happy about the open windows.
Also, yesterday sen_no_ongaku helped me plant lettuce, radicchio, leeks, snow peas, regular peas, and corn salad (it's a tasty dark green lettuce-like substance). The day before, I planted flowers, hardy kiwis, and rhubarb. Soon there will be other stuff, like cantaloupe, sweet peppers, potatoes, and possibly corn, but that's after the vegetable beds that my downstairs neighbor is... kindly... allowing me to put in get installed.
Spring is the BESTEST.
