The state of me...

I hate this time of year, and I love this time of year. It is nice weather, about 70 is where I like it with little or no humidity. But the crazy up and down weather patterns run havoc with my brain, literally. I have seasonal migranes in the spring and fall for about two weeks each year. Basically I am in severe pain for two weeks straight, pain killers don't touch it and all I can do with it is pray that it will end soon.

This year, was the worst so far, cause it made me dizzy and upset stomach to boot, I couldn't eat much, and my usually intake of soda just made me want to vomit, so I am going through seasonal migranes and caffine withdrawl at the same time. It was the worst Thursday when I was laying my head with an ice pack on my desk at work crying. My boss comes in, you have been quiet today what are you working on. She is like, what are you doing? I said suffering, she said why don't you go home them, I said I can't see to drive I have to wait until later. After about an hour with the ice pack my vision cleared and I went back to work.

Last night I was in a good mood pain and all and I actually went to the gym. Gasp...what the...you don't exercise you say...ya, ya, ya I actually have a gym membership and I finally used it. It was nice, I had never been to the Schenectady Planet Fitness, it is nicer than the one near work and it has more toys to work with. So I think I will be going back. I ran in to a scadian friend there...of course...visited for a bit and continued walking on the treadmill. So I might as well jump on the weigh management bandwagon for a bit with this is still intersting to me. My sorry ass weighs 277.5lb, I walked 1.5 miles. I could have gone more, but I accidently hit the emergency stop button on the treadmill and couldn't figure out how to turn the damn thing back on without restarting so I just said time to go.

I came home last night and my neighbor invited me over to a Beltane festival/ritual. I am not wiccan or pagan or whatever, but thought hey it seems like a cool thing. It was a very nice ceremony and the weather held out for them and it was nice to meet some new people.

So my sorry butt is getting dressed and off to the gym again. Lets see how long I can go before hitting the emergency button today...

oh the walking got ride of my migrane for about an hour afterward...hence why I really am in such a hurry to go back. Hello natures medical relief. :D
