I waited until I was calm, and not mad, but guess what? My scroll got lost at Coronation. Freaking sucks all to hell! Luckily it was found, by me, where I was told to put it, it sat there through the "last" court and everyone thought it wasn't turned in. But I had already shown some people the finished scroll, and it was turned in, I even told the herald which one it was when he asked. It is just stupid.
I was not at "last" court, I was actually in the Golden Quill competition, thank god. Cause as one of my LJ friends said, "Visions of pulling you out of a belltower" yah, it might have happened, or banishment after I threw some things at a few people and imposed bodily injury.
But I got there by 10 am to drop off the scroll into the royal room, but they were getting dressed and I put it on the table where they indicated and they forgot it and it got buriend and then I got accused of not turning in the burdened tyger scroll I was assigned. Everyone sitting behind the royals during court were whispering that the scribe never turned it in, blah, blah, blah. Anyway, I was out with some people visiting and asked the recipients husband how she like the scroll, and that is where I got the story that there was no scroll. I was told by my mentor to let it go and they will contact them later about the scroll.
I talked to my friend who was in the royal retainer group and she said she didn't know where it went, but she saw me show it off in the morning. So I went down to the royal room and found it buried under a bunch of trash and shit, after asking the herald if there was somethign wrong with it, he said no it wasn't turned in, I said yes and lifted up the pile of trash and there it was in the envelope on the bottom of the pile. He apoligized, it was then signed and turned over to the recipient that day. At least I got a piece of cake when I went in the royal room. mmmm....cake. :)
so I am calmer now...I just have to finish two projects for the barony, and then I am taking a break for a little while. I hate it when people badger you over not doing enough with your volunteer stuff, and not doing it fast enough...but that is for another post. :) It is specifically two people but it is getting on my last nerve...
