Crunch Time....
Final exams are coming up so soon it's scary. I thought I had quite a bit of time, until a co worker informed me that school ends next week.....so shocked and in dispaired now. But that only means one thing now: crunch time......*sigh*, if only it could be as fun as it sounds.....
With exams and the such, it's so hard to get into the Christmas spirit. My last one is one the 21st....so I'll have 2-3 days to get into the Christmas mood. Not so cool.
I downloaded the Grinch who stole Christmas movie.....not the new Jim Carrey one, but the old Dr. Suess classic cartoon one. When I was at home, we'd watch it every Christmas that it came on television. Unfortunatly, when I get home, it will have already played...and I have no idea when or what channel it's one (my mom always figured that one out for us)...so downloading felt like the best alternative....and I can watch it over and over....and over and over again! (muah - ha - ha!)
With exams, like every year, also brings misconceptions with people that i'm dating, seeing, with - but not with, or just with in some sort of way that cannot be defined by any means. Some understand the exam thing, some don't and take it as though I'm not interrested, or I found something better or the like (Com'on, would I really ditch a guy almost completey for school unless is was important?....well, organic chem is kinda sexy, and biochem just does that thing that I love -- joking!). And I'm not really ditching, just putting them on the side for awhile. I'm not even ignoring, I still communicate with them, I just can't give them more then a couple hours of my time at any time, and even when they do have my time, I might still be focused on something elss (school related of course!) We'll see what happens with this one....already lost two to exams before....grrrr.....(or it was just bad luck that things fell apart during exams, but when they do that, you're just too busy with school to be able ot put them back together in time!)
