(no subject)
Been a busy busy busy last few weeks
got done with all of my Avanti interviews, and I got it!! Im really excited about it. Basically, I stay out here over the summer to help all the freshman w/ orientation. We just help em out, make them fel welcome, take them around, etc... and I get paid $1500 for the summer, and it counts as an internship as well apparently. Sucks not being able to come home for the summer, but I think it's for the better.
Speakin of internships... Im more than likely taking a semester off my junior year to do an internship w/ Disney in Orlando. I can't even explain how excited I am about this. Im a nerd, but it's going to be fabulous.
Doing a pageant tomorrow... Miss Corolla. Basically we compete to be the " face of the yearbook"... sounds extremely lame, but its a big deal apparently? My sorority nominated me and 3 other girls... it should be a lot of fun, and my parents are coming:).
I joined this club called BAMA PAWS awhile ago, but I think we're doing this thing where we get to go hold little puppies before they get spayed and neutered(SP?) and keep them warm, and then snuggle them afterwards so they'll stay warm. How freaking cute is that.
Sorority is good.. Got nominated to be the head philanthropy chair for the sorority... not sure if I want to take that on yet... Maybe Ill take it more seriously next year when I know what the job actually consists of.
I think Im also going to look into doing Crew for alabama. It just became a varsity sport, so it shold be relaively easy to get on the team.. and Nike sponsors them, so they get like $800 worth of free nike clothes. And they study w/ the football players, ha. I dont know, I just think it would be fun. And something diferent.
Boys are boys... went to the dashboard concert on monday night in birmingham w/ stephen... but being that he was completely wasted, I was being mom most of the night... Would have been fun other than that... kinda made me lose complete interest in him, but thats probably a good thing.
Other steven, however, is a complete sweetheart and I think is coming to see my pageant tomorrow... went out to see a movie and stuff, hes funny as hell, cute, and seems to be genuinely down to earth. Smoker, however... but he said he would stop:)
