Also, they don't give you any breaks during training- to prevent people from leaving for lunch or the bathroom and not coming back- blatently illegal to do to employees but they take away your employee rights and make you an independent contractor instead.
They are not as flexible as they claim. Of course, it varies office to office but there is a national pattern of Vector managers touting "flexibility" as a job perk to bait you into working for them but then you'll find they'll call you incessantly (even multiple times a day), harass you, bother you about why you're not selling, push you around, put high pressure on you to do someting (even if your morals dictate otherwise), generally bully you into doing what they want - after all, for the first $3,000 in sales, the manager makes more money in commission than the rep does off their own sales! There has been quite a few recent reports that despite their communicating to their managers that they have other things going on in their lives preventing them from working a lot, their manager continued to push them and treat them like dirt or revoke advancement opportunities if they didn't sell enough. You have to follow their strict rules, make daily phone calls or they will call you, attend their meetings on their time and place of choosing, and more.
Hey you shut the hell Up ! ..you seem to be the one that has No life. And Vector is nothing more than Shit, I worked there for a week and got to notice really well that they implement the Sales Rep the same shit they're teaching them to do with the "costumers". So they're filling your head with the same bullshit they're doing it to the costumer ! Only stupid people don't notice it!! u.u
Re: trainingantiscamSeptember 3 2005, 01:18:00 UTC
yea thats bullshit... i'm an ERA at vector and the training today was from 1-7 the new reps to be got like 5 breaks and then some.. and anyways the less breaks u take the shorter ur day is for u.. think about it..the people working for Vector are awesome and want to help u in any way they can...
i am a new employee and the person who originally posted this is right..i had one five minute break and that too 3 hours later than lunch...so i was starving for quite some time and i was fasting.
