Six watched Sam as he walked his lonely road, his thoughts and turmoil rolling off of him in waves. She stayed out of sight, trying to decide how exactly to start having her fun.

Poor, tortured Sammy. He was so wonderfully screwed up, and she couldn't help but laugh, letting the breeze pick up on the sound as he considered himself in the window.

"Maybe you're putting too much into this. You should trust in God..."

She still didn't show herself to him, but she wondered if he would think he was going crazy (crazier) as she spoke out loud.

Sam pulled up short at the sound of a woman's laugh. It seemed like he'd heard it before, but he couldn't place it. When she spoke, though, he stilled, trying to listen to every creak and breeze, because he wasn't Dean or his dad, but his hunter instincts usually gave him a bit more warning than this when someone was nearby.

"Um ... hello?" He surveyed the space behind him through the windows reflection before leaning off to the right some to peer into the building itself. It was dark, but there was enough moonlight spilling in for him to see that it still seemed pretty empty. "I'm not gonna hurt you or anything. I mean ... I know I probably sounded a little crazy right then, but ... I'm really not. I'm just having a bad night. Know what I mean?"

Six grinned and stood behind him, peering into the window with him, right behind his shoulder.

"Oh, you are anything but crazy. That much is evident."

She was wearing a red strapless dress that crisscrossed up the side and tied around the back and heels that accentuated long, slim legs. Her blonde hair curled down her shoulders and she smiled at him.

"A little conflicted, maybe. But certainly not crazy."

"Whoa!" Sam blinked at the woman who'd suddenly appeared behind him, then he spun to face her, eyebrows crashing inward. "Where did you come from?"

He didn't ask the question on the tip of his tongue about her being a demon, but he spared a quick glance off to the road, wondering if he'd walked through a crossroad on his way here without noticing.

Her face looked familiar, but like her laugh, he couldn't quite place it. It felt like she was a puzzle piece in the wrong spot, and her attire did nothing to detract from that theory. "Or maybe I should be asking how you ended up out here ... dressed like that."

Six ran her fingers almost soothingly through Sam's hair. "I'll be here for a long time. Don't worry. Everything will be okay."

She didn't elaborate, but simply stood and offered her hand to help him up, palm facing upward in a sign of truce.

Sam eyed her for a moment, but then took her hand and let her help pull him up. She was obviously exceptionally strong and despite all of his very well-founded suspicions, he was also kind of curious.

He brushed himself off after he'd righted himself and gave a nod in the direction of her ... uh ... wardrobe malfunction, but otherwise tried to keep his eyes on hers. "So ... what are you ... made out of anyway?" His hands flew up as if to show the lack of weaponry. "I don't mean that to be offensive, but ... I'm just honestly curious. I mean ... if humanity is your greatest enemy or some kind pest you feel the need to stamp out, then why do you want to look like us- ... them."

He turned away some, struck by how strange it was to find himself unable to fully say he was a part of the "them" that constituted humanity. "You know what I mean."

Six smiled wryly at his slip of the tongue and walked closer to him, tracing a finger down his arm slowly, moving ever closer to one of his bleeding cuts.

"I'm made out of the same as you. Skin, bones, muscle. Humanity is ungrateful. God gave them a planet, free will and everlasting love. And what do they do in return? God loved them more than anything, and to show their thanks, they kill one another. Sin, corruption. Evil. We're only going to fix the mess. And if humans could only see that God is love, they would find eternal happiness."

Sam shook his head, a quiet laugh spilling from the tip of his tongue. "What's fucked up about that statement right there ... is that you don't sound all the different from half of the nutjobs already living on this planet."

Shrugging, he refused to back away, though her proximity made him ... something. "But ... that seems like Old Testament stuff - to me, at least. Or ..." He took a deep breath, wondering if he was admitting more than he should. "Or it's Revelations time, but ... still. I have a hard time that the new Great Flood or the army of the Four Horseman is going to be a bunch of killer robots. And ... that's not to knock your faith, but ... I just don't personally think God works like that ( ... )
