WITNESSED SUCK:
Me and my boyfriend were waiting for our order in a Chinese takeaway. The young man taking the phone orders had a call. It wasn't long before things got a little difficult:
HIM: ... um... because we're a chinese takeaway.
I could hear this woman on the other end, she must have either been shouting or talking very loudly, but I couldn't make out what she was saying.
HIM: ... but we don't do that, if you want...
She kept cutting him off. Finally he managed to say,
HIM: ... if you want to order a pizza then you need a pizza shop, we are a Chinese takeaway.
I could still hear her, in the end he just had to put the phone down. He looked at me and my boyfriend and said, "Wow." We asked what exactly happened, and even though we got the gist of it, he said this lady was really angry because all she wanted was a pizza and that he was being horrible because he wouldn't do what she wanted.
Really? I've NEVER known any Chinese takeaway/restaurant sell pizzas. English food, maybe, but not pizzas.
