Why YES, there is a reason for the sign...and you are not supposed to be there, anyway
Dear lady and kids,
While I understand that your children wish to see ALL the kitties, the only adoptable ones are in the lobby. The ones back here are NOT ready, and in fact, contagious. They have ringworm, which is something your children, and yourself can get from them. That, dear lady, is the reason for the sign on the door. The one saying KEEP OUT.
Oh....and screaming about the fact that we have cats with a 'contagious, horrid disease.....do you even KNOW what ringworm IS????? Well, I do, it is NOT terminal, just an icky horrid itchy fungus that you can get rid of in about a week or two.
If you don't want it....keep the HELL out of my isolation room.
