ok seriously?
i work in a building for autism services. we have about 20 different types of services running out of this centre and therefor 20 different managers. if someone doesnt know who they need to speak to, they can tell me what its about and i can choose who they need from the 300+ employees, thats not a problem. i just need to know WHAT THEY NEED.
anyway this phone call happened 5 minutes ago.
me: good afternoon, *workplace*, how can i help you?
her: i need manager.
me: which maneger did you need to speak to?
her: manager of everything. manager of *workplace*
me: im sorry, our CEO doesnt work on fridays, but you can speak to her assistant if youd like.
her: you give me other manager.
me: which manager do you need to speak to? we have over 20 services here. which service are you calling about?
her: everything. *workplace*
me: ...do you have a specific question i can help you with?
her: i tell manager
me: ok but we have a lot of different managers... i need to know what you are calling about so i can choose the best manager to help you with your specific question.
her: about rules. RULES!!!
me: ...is your child having a problem following rules?
her: no, about RULES.
me: rrrrriiiight. ok just one moment please!
*puts her call through to someone who is not here today*
