LOL We get that all the time! Sure, that popcorn is a little bit stale, but there are some people who will be satisfied with it. If theaters only sold popcorn STRAIGHT out of the popper, lots and lots of corn would go to waste.

Just to play Devil's advocate, when you're paying $6.95 for approximately $0.03 worth of popcorn, you don't always want what's been sitting around, what with it being a "little bit stale". The guy still shouldn't have thrown a fit, but I don't think there's anything wrong with asking for fresh popcorn when you're paying out the ass for it.

No, there's nothing wrong with it. When I buy popcorn from my own co-workers on my days off, I always ask for fresh, because I know they can give it to me :P (unless there, you know, isn't any at the moment). But the "old" stuff still needs to get sold, or it'll just go to waste. I can understand if it's a day old...but there's really not much we can do when we JUST open and that's all we have to sell at the moment.

Theres nothing wrong with WANTING fresh popcorn when your paying so much for it.
But you can't expect them to just make a new batch for everyone who comes up wanting new popcorn. If I want something fresh, and I'm told that there isn't any fresh at the moment, but it will be coming up soon, I either wait, or don't get it.

And if you read my comment, I said that the guy shouldn't have thrown a fit.
