hey look who's still alive
That would be me! I am also really behind on shit, as is usually the case come mid-semester. I had a particularly fucking godawful week 8 in which I missed two major deadlines in two separate classes (a research paper and a midterm exam) by completely genuine mistake, I am two projects behind in my illustration studio and totally intimidated by the one due next Monday, etc.
So obviously I have decided to do NaNoWriMo.
I am doing this properly this year, guys. The last two years I only went for 30K in the month, and that was on the casefic. But the casefic is in beta, and I have just about wrapped up the first Triwizard Task + another shorter bit of Hogwarts and don't have any other sections particularly nagging at me just now. So I'm gonna deliberately drop that project for the month of November and do the whole 50K, making-it-up-as-I-go-along thing. I'm starting with just a vague one-or-two sentence plot idea. This will probably not last long, but I want to try anyway. Why the hell not.
