YEESSS SCHOOL IS OVER UNTIL SEPTEMBER. I no longer have any excuses not to sit on my ass and draw and write all day for the next four months.
. . . well, shit.
My school year went out with a bit of a whimper; all my biggest things were due last week, and then some medium-sized things at the beginning of this week, and then it was just poking my way through a bunch of little bits of late work in my Godawful chem class. This weekend is et up with roller derby (in a good way!) and for the next couple weeks I will be kind of a homebody, because I'm behind on sleep and need to get my comic going and also I have a $30 transit budget for the entire second half of the month. After that: welp, drawing, writing, trying Couch to 5K again, volunteering at an animal rescue and also at Girls Rock Chicago. (SO MUCH VOLUNTEERING. The refuge of people whom no right-thinking person would put in a position you have to actually apply for.)
What else? Um. I have run out of decent Star Trek to watch and am now watching Enterprise. It's bad, but not painfully so-- at least, it wouldn't be if it weren't for the theme song. MAKE IT GO AWAY OH GOOOOODDDDD
