Okay, so week 3 of Couch to 5K involves nine minutes total of running. And week 4 involves 16. Which is a big step up! But after two slightly irregular months on week 3, I thought I would do fine on week 4 and I didn't even finish :( I managed 12 or 13 minutes total, maybe, and then my chest was getting tight and I got a bit nauseous and I said "fuck it" and just walked the rest of the last interval. And it was my own damn fault, too, because I always mean to do this first thing in the morning, but then I put it off and put it off until it's lunchtime and I'm hungry and go "well I can't eat before I run" and run on an empty stomach because I'm a moron.
I will go again Wednesday morning, of course, and every Friday or Monday or Wednesday morning after that until I get this right. But I'm still mad at myself.
I'm halfway through the 30-day drawing challenge I set myself on June 1st; I meant to be at 75,000 words on my casefic by the end of today but I'm at 66500 and actually going backwards because I did some editing; I still can't roller skate for shit, and I haven't touched a sewing machine in months. And meanwhile I need to do this batch of work for my boss and do laundry and shower and paint my nails and sort out my to-do list for this week and God, I am just so fucking disappointed in myself right now, because there is so much stuff I am perfectly capable of doing that somehow just never gets done.
