Ahaha so today I got assigned a paper about fictionalized historical accounts about art (I think I'm going to write about "The Fires of Pompeii"), and then I went to a lecture about the history of New Yorker cover art, and then I got assigned another paper about analyzing paintings as historical sources.
And, I mean, I also did situps and practiced piano and exchanged library books and did some homework and ate a delicious sandwich and worked on my self-designed degree proposal, because it was That Kind Of A Day. But those were the three big things, and they just fit together so well, and I am all @___________@ EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED OMG SCHOOL I LOVE YOU HOW ARE YOU SO GREAT right now.
I am really really okay with spending six more semesters at this school-- which is what it's looking to be-- though I am really really not okay in principle with spending six more semesters in school while everyone I graduated high school with is going off to grad school and being successful and shit. I really wish I knew how to reconcile these two things, because what the fuck, self, you would hate those schools anyway.
BUT THAT IS NOT THE POINT. THE POINT IS YOU GUYS I GOT TO GET LECTURED BY FRANCOISE MOULY TODAY FUCK YEAH.

ANWAY. I haven't written any drabbles yet-- I expect to get to those this weekend-- but one more slot left! Free fic, guys! :D? :D?
