it cannot wait

If I updated more often, I wouldn't have to make huge boring lists like this and end up forgetting things. Oh well.

1. Didn't get the ACLU job, which is probably a blessing considering the weather lately. But I did it for two days and gave it my all, and my supervisors were impressed and are willing to give me references! Plus I got two days of paid work. It's something.

2. So, back to job hunting. Doot doot.

3. I am shopping for yarn so I can make things! And hopefully sell them on Etsy. If not, I . . . guess I will have a ton of gloves and scarves sitting around. So it goes. At least I'll have something to do on the train.

4. Current trip planning: leave the evening of the 9th, arrive in Boston evening of the 10th. Boston University campus tour the 11th, taking the bus up to Amherst after that. Hanging out there and making Nai and Aria (and occasionally the Smith admissions office) miserable till the morning of the 14th, when I am heading back to Boston. Hanging around Boston about a day and a half longer, then leaving at noon the 16th and getting back the morning of the 17th. Whoooosh.

5. Of course, if I get a job in the next two weeks, this is all moot.

6. I was going to write fic, wasn't I. I should get on that.

7. I think I'm doing NaNo! Let's see how much this fails.

8. I'm also-- because for some stupid misguided reason I actually miss school, and also all my friends are starting school and I have nothing to do-- I have a Welsh textbook. And I may have downloaded six semesters of math course material from MIT OpenCourseWare. So we'll see how much that fails, too.

9. Also: Dance classes! Starting after I get back from Massachusetts. Fuck you, bad knees.

10. I WILL BE OUT ALL DAY. Because I need to go to the library, and pick up my ACLU paycheck, and see Burn After Reading.
ganymi, you know what you need to do. >:(
