Hey all!
I'm alive! What is the miracle that I'm posting after 7 weeks? Well, I'll tell you, it's not a miracle as much as it's a pain in the ass. That's right, it's my first day back at work. And I miss my baby girl soooooo much that it hurts. I've never been away from her this long and my arms feel empty. I even brought one of her burpcloths from home and was sneaking sniffs when I was caught by a coworker and outed. Go ahead and laugh, but I'm addicted to my little squishy love bug! I've submitted a proposal for part-time work so that I can spend more time with her and still bring in some money. Wish me luck!
In other news, it's 12 days til I step foot in Seattle for the Penny Arcade Convention. I am really looking forward to it. I hope to Jebus that Sophia handles the plane ride well and isn't too bothered by the noise in the convention hall. I am so temped to go shopping for a complete travel wardrobe, as the idea of doing laundry in addition to packing makes my left eye twitch in a bad way. Maybe I'll use my Kohl's card and pay it off before the hub even notices. It's not like he notices what I wear now anyway.
Oh, and just so you know, I've been reading your entries all these weeks, so I do know what's up with you guys even if I don't comment. : ) Cheers!
