i have this paper due tomorrow on the dead, which i stupidly decided to write about using structuralist ideas - a topic we haven't covered in class and runs against my strengths in analysis. i'm pretty bad with theory - just look at my hard earned B+ in music - but it interests me, so that's why i chose to do structuralism. i think though, that once i get into it it'll be easier? also, i just need to define what boundaries i'm working with and what not to (wear) write about. i have a good 24 hours until it's due, and we're spending class on the dead and structuralism.

but all i can think about is harry potter! i haven't read the last book yet, and i really really really want to. i re read the fifth and sixth over the weekend, and omg i have totally forgotten what it's like to have harry potter mania. omg. i think i have to get the 7th tonight, and i'll use it as incentive for writing my paper... i don't even want to go to class, i just want to read the fucking harry potter. ahhhh.

too bad i didn't just choose freud or marx. that's the kind of analysis we've all been trained to do (albeit more focused). but maybe i can warm up using harry potter as an example!

and i miss sirius! :(
