Title: On Saint-Exupéry
Rating: PG
Pairing: Ricardo Kakà/Yoann Gourcuff
“Dessine-moi un mouton!”
Ricky rolls onto his side and leans on his elbow, a palm propping his head up. He looks at the Frenchman beside him curiously. “What?”
The corners of his mouth slowly curve up and Yoann repeats softly, “Draw me a sheep.”
He is still as curious as hell, but Ricky has always been a man of faith and he trusts Yoann enough to comply without questions. So he pulls their hips close, goosebumps-infected skins grazing gently, and traces something like a sheep with his finger on Yoann’s belly.
“That's not a sheep,” Yoann laughs.
“Why do you want a sheep?” Ricky finally asks, his finger delicately doodling other things now.
“C’est la preuve qu’on existe. It proves that this is real, that we are real.”
And then he understands. O Pequeno Príncipe. Ricky bends, kissing Yoann’s cheek. “Close your eyes. Then you'll see the sheep.”
But the eyes are blind.
Yoann smiles. He understands too. “Il faut chercher avec le cœur.”
One must look with the heart.
