Geek updates
Currently upgrading The Matrix to version 6.19 of Drupal. It's my website for the DWAITAS RPG, which will hopefully replace the forums so content can be found more easily (ie tag searching and categories).
Having fun with the VLC media app for the android - over the wifi I can tell the PC to play any video or audio file anywhere on its hard drive, and in a variety of styles. It basically makes my phone a PC media centre remote. In addition it can stream the audio from the player to the phone - video streaming is under development. You do have to have the VLC program running on the PC of course and have it set to listen to incoming requests.
Kinda cute, and useful last night when we couldn't get the sound working on a movie we were watching, so we listened to it on the phone.
If we get something like PC streaming for video - I may start converting all my DVDs.
