I always knew it was the fuel pump

After many weeks of dealing with an unreliable car, today I finally have closure.  It was the fuel pump.  I knew it from day one, but the guys at Autotronics (boo!) couldn't figure it out.  They kept insisting it was the carburetor.  So, I took it to a different mechanic.  They said, "It's your fuel pump."  And I went, "Gee, I'm shocked."

So, now I'm super pissed.  The Autotronics (boo!) guys charged me $306.07 to fix nothing.  Well, actually they fixed the choke thermostat, which didn't need fixed.  Then they wanted another $600 to take the carb apart???????????????????  Plus, I found out they charged me $109 for a $50 part.   Aaaaaargh!

As much as I hate to do it, I think it's time for small-claims court.  Or, as they call it in Minnesota, conciliation court.  I want my $300 back!
