I've been busy these last few weeks programming... and it's almost getting to a showable point. I'll probably have pictures up within the next few days, but here are some URL's:
Strawberry Perl release page mentions my project... ("We are focusing the new .msi installer for April")
Journal entry from the main writer of Perl::Dist - *blushes* Here's the "changes" file - and I've done some since then! The SVN repository I'm posting to. (Explanation: I figured "Why not?" and started writing on Perl::Dist::WiX a few weeks ago, and it is going very well...)
If you're wondering, WiX (Windows Installer XML) is a program that creates .msi files (Windows Installer files) - they're the recommended way to install software on Windows, and they make it easier for network administrators to install across the whole network and that sort of thing.
You've probably seen them, either alone or "bootstrapped" (an .exe wraps up a .msi - or multiple .msi's and other stuff if the program has prerequisites.)
It's not ready for public use yet, but I wanted to make sure I didn't appear to drop off the face of the earth!
