We're safely in Windsor, and getting settled in. There is a longer story to be told of the move, involving unexpected woes (both emotional and financial) and incompetence on the part of several major corporations, but it will have to be another day, as I'm exhausted and would really like to sleep in my new bed at long last. We only have internet access via Steve's laptop at the moment, so I still won't be online much for an as-yet-to-be-determined length of time. We still like the house, and Arthur seems to be settling in well so far. He did say today in a sort of weary tone "Let's just go home, let's go to Montreal," but otherwise hasn't seemed too bothered yet, and indeed likes some things (new bedroom, instant access to backyard, watering flowers, throwing toys down the stairs) very much. Steve's parents and brother left today, and my mother will be here in the middle of next week. Hopefully by the time she gets here things will be a little more organized.
I'll try to get some pictures up when I can, though any shots of the inside of the house will, I think, have to wait until there are a few less boxes around. I do definitely want to put up some pictures of the front garden, though, in hopes that more experienced gardeners than myself will be able to tell me what some of the plants are :)
