Good books, crappy sushi

My father send us a huge box of old children's books of mine. I weeded out some that are still way too old for Arthur, and a few that are too fragile, but the rest are sitting out on our coffee table for him to peruse. I think he's a little daunted by the number of books, but intrigued by them. Anyway, my dad rocks for not only keeping them for all these years, but for mailing them to us, because it couldn't have been cheap!

(Me, I'm squeeing about the collection of all the Peter Wimsey short stories he sent me, which I now recall was on my shelf as a teenager because somebody gave it to me as a gift, but I don't think I ever read it then. Now, I'm thrilled to have it :)

We were too grumpy and lazy last night to figure out food for supper, so I was happy when Steve suggested we could order sushi. Except that we decided to try a different place than usual, because it's just around the corner and so we could pick it up, which would save some money. They told us it would be half an hour, but when Steve went to get it, they told him it would be ten more minutes. When he returned, they had made the wrong order >_< So they offered to deliver it free of charge when it was ready, and Steve told them he still wanted the 15% off for coming to pick it up (twice) and they agreed. But then it took another half hour or so for the food to arrive, so it was about an hour and twenty minutes from when we first ordered it, and we were starving (we'd fed Arthur on leftovers already, so he was fine at least.) And when it arrived, it wasn't that good. I felt vaguely nauseous after a few bites, and didn't eat very many pieces. So I don't think we'll order from them again.
