"I have been BLOGGING!"
A tiny bit of self-promotion: I've completed 100 Lord of the Rings icons for fantasy100 and 100 Venture Brothers icons for scifi100. I try not to spam over here with every set of icons I make, but I'm really rather proud of these two.
In other news, I'm done washing cloth diapers! Arthur is only using 2-3 diapers a day now, and when he starts daycare in September, he'll have to use disposables. Since we also use disposables while we're traveling, and we're going to Ontario next week, it doesn't seem worthwhile to put him in cloth for the few days that are left - he won't go through enough to make a full wash load between now and then, and I don't want them sitting for ages and marinating, so to speak. So, no more diaper laundry for me. I actually feel a little melancholy about it - diaper washing was really not a bad chore, especially when the weather was good. I'd much rather wash diapers than do dishes or clean the toilet, for example. And I don't care much for disposables, even though I know we'll likely only be buying them for a few more months. Still, it's not every day one has a chore permanently removed from one's roster of necessary tasks, so I should be glad. One less thing I have to do is definitely a plus.
Today, I intend to write. I say that every day, mind you, but I spent my before-I-fall-asleep time last night working out what has to happen in the next few chapters of my Changeling story, so I'm actually feeling enthused about working on it.
