Uhhhh so I spent the last three days in Seattle hanging out with the Wasell children. On Tuesday Ryan and I explored (which is actually the super-cool way of saying "got horribly lost") the UW campus, and then went Christmas shopping! I don't have very many people to buy for this year, it was only going to be my parents, brothers, Sandy and Ryan, but R-diddy and I decided we'd rather go do something cool than exchange presents, so that cut back my list by one, no sadness there. I got San a rad present, except there is a fear in my bones that she might already have it. Which would mean I know her taste that well but still it's no fun getting a present you already have. But I have other things for her too, so no matter what she will get something good.
Yesterday R and I went to see the Nutcracker, Sandy danced Snow and Flowers, and very well too! Bravo, bravo. I met her ballet friends Abby and Anna (Annie and Abba haha); they were nice but really quiet-- which is sometimes hard to deal with. I think I'm one of those people who will talk a lot if nobody is, and listens and stays [somewhat] quiet when somebody else is talking.
Today my family all went up to Seattle just because it's a tradition, R ended up coming which made my day quite a bit better (considering the alternative was to have Colin as a shopping buddy... yeah no). We spent like three hours looking for a Christmas present for this girl from PNB umm I suppose you would call her an "acquaintance" who will also be part of the "ballet outreach ministry" at the Wasell's on Christmas. Ryan's final decision for her was an array of cookie cutters (she likes to bake)... bison and dolphin shapes included hahahahha. So funny, yet so not because she probably really won't see the humor of it all. I told him he should just get her something slutty from Victoria's Secret and say "I know I've only met you twice but this reminded me of you."
I don't really have a reason to be writing all of this except Mark is asleep on the couch and that means no TV for meeeeeeeeeeeeee...
Wow, I'm moved in less than a week. Scary, yet so exciting. It was good for me to spend so much time in Seattle this week, I think. It makes it seem less omnious.
