Everybody being dressed and in character. Including the ushers. Like the ride attendants at Disneyland.
Steve: Something by the reduced shakespeare company. They were funny. Me: Dunno. Equus was quite good. Jerry Springer: The opera was hilarious.
Uh, no, save it for panto. It detracts from the experience because it almost shatters the illusion and immersion if Dave from Swansea suddenly gets involved in Macbeth.
Wtf has this got to do with theatre? Can you narrow it down at all?
You mean in fear or what? Don't understand the question really. Film and TV are vastly different from each other, and neither have much of a physical or emotional effect. It's the music that makes it emotional for the most part, and music itself doesn't require a visual to be effective. The best movies and tv shows are the ones that have their soundtrack sorted, generally.
Yay, mostly. Except band tie-ins, like Mamma Mia and Camp Rock and that eurovision satire one. The Queen one was entertaining but hardly high art. Blues Brothers was awesome.
