Changing over from Merry Wives to Timon of Athens. This is the most elaborate turnaround I have ever witnessed. These pictures were taken over the course of the two hours that we watched (we had to leave a little early). The set for Timon of Athens consists of a huge net above the stage and the yard on which aerialists crawl around, so it has to be rigged very carefully. Getting the net installed in a low-tech theater like the Globe is a massive endeavor...these pictures hardly do it justice.
