American Tech Support FTW!
Called up the X-Box people so that they could send a medic for my system. But instead, they kicked me over to a guy in X-Box Live. There, a nice young man with plans for world domination (seriously, he even said so) had me delete my gamer profile, and then recover it.
Now? My profile is back. No corruption. No ridiculous loading times. That one little fix took care of all the problems.
Boom. Shaka. Laka.
Now I don't have to wait for Roy Orbison! (Well, I do, because the Orbison pack for Rock Band doesn't come out until tomorrow...but you know what I mean.)
