The Taravella Sax Quartet got our first paid gig! It was referred to us by Mr.Jenkins and is to pay $250 for only 30 minutes of playing!!!! ...except $120 of it goes to the school, so $130 amongst the four of us ($32.50 per member). But, do are we limited to using the members of JPT? Talking it over with TJ, maybe we could use Daniel and Mark since they'd be down, and we definitely sound a lot better with that group. Gotta get in touch with them.
Colorguard Competition yesterday hosted at JPT was quite a workout. Doesn't help being flat-footed and wearing sandals on a job that requires much walking. JPT was quite awesome, it was like watching a marching band in terms of coordination and movement, though I'm sure that wasn't the best show they've put on, it was fairly impressive. Wow, Heather, I never knew you could be so aggressive like that growl and mournful that convinced most of us that you were in fact, crying. Congrats on first place. Cleaning was hell. So much erroneous info circulated amongst us through the ``chain-of-command.`` I should just use the cell's recording feature to hear from Jenkins directly so that we can claim he DOES in fact change his mind without knowing it, a lot.
Thank you Mr.Pesicek for giving us such a fun-filled weekend of 130 multiple choice questions and 6 pages of questions to do. I hope you are fulfilled with feelings of accomplishments for taking away our weekends and sleep. Even Spring Break is cut short with more fun you're giving us. ``There's a special place in hell for people like you.``
