FRANCE
A country-person. France is currently in possession of zero respect point from Monk for both naming his THREE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT birds the same thing and not believing that an air freshener could fight mutated frogs. He has no concept of order at all, and Monk highly suspects that his apartment is kept in squalor. An intervention (aka room raid) has been planned to save him from himself.
NILL
A small child who seems determined to make his life seem better than it already is. She's dead wrong, obviously, and Monk doesn't seem to understand that his responses are confusing her. Closest are totally different from people, ok.
AMERICA
Another country-person who takes the form of Monk's worst nightmare. He's technically a citizen of America, but the personification's extreme energy and inability to listen to anything Monk told him sped his switch to Germany. Monk's strange habits and wrongful assumption about what Death City was in the beginning has led him to be labeled as an alien by America, something which bothers him greatly but he finds he's unable to shake. The nation gives him headaches and panic attacks, and he really wants nothing to do with him at all. Unfortunately America thinks differently.
GERMANY
His technical country as of Death City. Germany is to the point, factual, and understands that cereal boxes should all contain the same amount of food in them. Basically, a nation after his own heart. Monk is occasionally too much even for Germany, who for all his exactitude is still a sane man, but he's very fond of him. Definitely his favorite country-person by far.
HONG KONG
Hong Kong fills Monk full of a good amount of rage. Not only is he a personification (which makes no sense and shouldn't exists) he's not even a country! His existence opens the door to all kinds of horrible possibilities in Monk's mind. Hong Kong trolls Monk, but as with all trolling this flies right over his head. Also in possession of a fluffy white cat which is getting a visit from the razor for hygienal justice.
