Yesterday would have been pleasant enough.

... It is not fair, to hear the fighting and be able to do nothing to help or stop it.

Are you all right, Lailis?

I heard about what happened. I wasn't even in the Opera House when it happened.

... I'm glad you and Merry were out.

Yes, so am I, though it reminds me that we ought to have better plans in place for situations like that. No one knew what to do to get rid of her.

I'm glad you're not hurt, though you may be frustrated.

[ooc: I'm totally assuming they would have been out with Cassian when it all went down. Is that okay?]

... She was terrifying. Not- Not her appearence, no, she was lovely, but... she smiled at us, ah, I was chained to Lord Doumeki, and waved... and politely asked if we'd seen Fakir-

Merely reminded of my weakness.

{ooc: of course~}

I agree, there was an air about her. I made the somewhat foolish mistake of speaking to her. I'm not entirely sure why--perhaps that same air. Fortunately nothing came of it as I'm still in possession of my soul.

I see.

Rather than speak yourself?
