*Sara hasn't heard of her brother's latest bout of Chronic Backstabbing Disorder yet. She went for a synch test with Emily this morning and passed out after the readings broke the measuring chart. She's now in the infirmary with said doll, just waking up.*
*A few beds over, and a certain someone's pulling themselves back onto their feet after their latest "training session" with Nia's cookies happened to be a bit too much for them*
*nods* She... they... they share the same mind. The doll is one. The engineers opened her up and she isn't a normal MIMIC. There was a brain inside instead. Another one is the little girl with Brother. There used to be more. Most of them are gone, and it's because of a group of scientists from the Union who lived back then.
I just thought they were like B'ts; artificial life forms. But this is sounding more and more like someone did more than a few human rights violations along the way!
Nobody in the Union even knows about this. They only gave over the finished plans, when they figured out how to create a MIMIC from a person's own brain cells. Like my old MIMIC, and the ones the other students at Basion use. Emily was one of the first ones that they made in the original experiment.
I told you how MIMICs were made to compensate for non-psychics... it turns out that's why. *sigh* That wasn't the only thing they used them for. They also wanted to see how their brains worked so they could try and establish instant interstellar communication.
... Why do I keep-

What kind of visions were they?

It started a long time ago. Hundreds of years. Before Strains were invented, at least, although other groups had machines like them, as you know.

So if it was real, then... how did you see it? Was that Emily's doing?
