So I was thinking yesterday, and Andrew and I started talking about recycling. We know everyone does it, but you never see anyone else doing it. You always save up the cans for months (or weeks if you drink a lot...of soda) and then you plan out a day to go and cash in the cans and/or bottles. You pile all of large bags into your tiny vehicle, possible have to move all your seats up and open up the trunk, but you make it to the stop n shop or recycling place in one piece. Then you load up all the bags into shopping carts, or just drag them to the machines and you end up being a spectacle for everyone else while you struggle with your cans and spending an hour at the machine just to make a few bucks. Why is it that we always hear everyone talking of returning cans, but never run into anyone else doing it? Is it just God's will to embarrass us?
