Keep fighting the good fight.

I should be designing my class ring online, but this was too good:

New York Times:

"Atleast 900 Arrested in City as Protesters Clash With Police"

"Demonstrations Continue, but With Fewer Arrests So Far"

The fact that so many protesters breached security at the Republican National Convention makes my day. They're the people who should be running the country, they're tricky, and have a mind for finding things, like Osama. I also noticed in the same article that protesters holding up pink flyers saying "The Next Pink Slip Might Be Yours!" were also holding cups of coffee from places like Starbucks and Bean Street in their available hands. Only in New York.

The thing I found most interesting was the "die-in" that members of the War Resister's League held at 28th and Broadway. The fact that protests could be as simple as lying in the street tickles me. And also was the fact that some protesters were as young as you and me, 17, 18, and maybe even younger. Too bad 99% of America's politically involved youth don't live in politically involved cities. I may be overexaggerating, but think about it, if more youth were involved in things such as Anti-war movements and such, we wouldn't be as bored or uninvolved with political issues as we are now.
